How to Balance School, Friends, Family and Other Activities
It is more difficult than ever now to balance your life’s concerns and activities.
At this point in your life, school is the most important concern and should be the top priority. Concentrate in class, take notes, keep up with assignments and get the best grades possible. This has the potential to effect the rest of your life and potential career. Developing and maintaining good study habits, reading comprehension, the ability to write creatively and finish a project, whether you like it or not, is the basis of success in college, career and life.
With that in mind, however, there is still time available for friends, family and extra curricular activities. These activities can now be prioritized individually by what you seem to be most important. Most teens find their friends to be more important than family at this point in their lives and that’s okay. Just be respectful to your parents, honest, earn their trust and follow their rules and they should have no problem with your spending free time with friends. It’s not as hard as it sounds!
From there, if you choose to be involved in sports, music, drama or religious activities, you can prioritize from there. The hits keep comin-: Balancing School With Extracurricular Activities
