Wow! Marilyn Anderson has given us girls the best new primer on dating ever. It's called "NEVER KISS A FROG: A Girl's Guide to Creatures from the Dating Swamp." This book should be on every single woman's bedside table…right next to the telephone so the next time one of these "frogs" calls she'll know exactly what to say!
My entire dating life passed before my eyes (not to mention my funny bone) as I read this terrific book. There, between the pages, were all the dead-end guys (frogs) I have spent half my adult life dating… and wasting my time on. All I can say is, "Marilyn, where were you when I needed you!" I could hardly stop laughing long enough to call up my latest "boyfriend" and tell him to go take a hike, or as Marilyn might say, "Go jump back into the swamp, you slimy frog"
"Never Kiss a Frog" is chock full of laughs, brimming with great insights and overflowing with common sense suggestions that most of us (certainly me) probably overlook. For advice, there are Wart Warnings and Ribbet Snippets - smart, savvy and funny. There are also toadally clever names of frogs every girl can relate to like The-Really-Nice-Guy-But-Really-Bad-Kisser Frog, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Frog, and the Horny Toad. Oh yeah, and if I were you, I would slip one of these books into your boyfriend's briefcase or backpack and hope after reading it he may turn into that prince you've always been looking for. A definite recommend and four stars from me.
