Submissions:
All e-mail submissions become the property of Girlposse.com ltd. If you do not wish to read your e-mail on the site, please do not send it. Instead, use your psychic ability to think your comments or ideas to the powers that be at Girlposse. :-)

If you are writing to our advice column, or in response to a request for contributions (bad date stories, Top Ten Lists, etc.) - we will post what we think is appropriate. (Meaning - if we like it - we’ll use it.)  We will post a name (usually just a first name or “screen” name”) upon request. We will not post e-mail addresses. This is for the safety of all of our members and readers. But we won’t post anything that doesn’t include a valid e-mail address. This is to weed out phonies and spammers.

Contributors are not compensated for their contributions. All contributions shall be sent with no expectations of remuneration. (Except where otherwise, and expressly noted.)

Privacy:
We here at Girlposse.com are a selfish bunch. We like to keep our members and readers all to ourselves. This is why we never release e-mail addresses or street addresses to any third party. If we ask for your e-mail address it’s for our use only - for you to receive our newsletter or to respond to correspondence. We do occasionally ask for street addresses - this is so we can send our Contest Winners their prizes. Or birthday cards. No junk mail. No sweepstakes envelopes.

We’ve been asked in the past to give away prizes by a third party in exchange for the entrants e-mail addresses.  IF we decide that the prizes are cool enough to give it a whirl- we will be sure to let you know this BEFORE you enter. IN VERY BOLD LETTERS!

We may occasionally ask our members to fill out a brief survey. This is to help us decide what content YOU want. We want to know what interests you. No evil plan. No hidden agenda.

Money:
Some of you may have noticed the ads that are now on our pages. This is something we avoided doing for as long as we can. But running the site costs money - programs, server fees, the programmer’s supply of diet coke for all those late nights, prizes and shipping, etc etc. We have tried to make them as unobtrusive as possible.

We have launched our Girlposse.com shopping area. This is where we have some cool Girlposse.com t-shirts as well as some items that we HIGHLY recommend. Every product that we sell has been personally selected by us with your interests and tastes in mind. We know that this may offend some people: thinking all we’re trying to do is sell you stuff. Well - we are. Lots of stuff. But it’s good stuff. We promise.
