Letters From You

Sheila. A stubborn Taurus, true to my sign, born in 1967. I'm not getting older, just wiser. Believe it or not, I was born in Bethlehem Hospital. It is in Melbourne , Australia. According to my mom, I was a chubby wrinkled thing when I came out. Something to do with being a little past due. When the nuns brought me into my mom she would, (supposedly jokingly) say, "ewwww, take that little ugly thing away." Why I was born in a place with nuns, yet raised without religion is a question I will have to ask my parents.

I spent most of my life in Melbourne, then a few years in Sydney. I eventually found my way to LA where I had the best 4 years of my life. These days I'm in Chicago where I can honestly say, "I've never been so cold in my life, nor have I ever had so many bad dates ."

I've found that having good friends, travelling and seeing as much as you can is the best way to broaden your horizons and to make the most out of life. There is so much to see, to do and to learn. Growing up in Australia we learn quickly about working holidays. Everyone I know, including myself, has taken off at one stage or another and travelled from country to country, city to city, taking odd jobs on the way to pay for getting from one place to another. It is an amazing experience if you don't mind 'roughing it.' I would suggest saving up some cash before you go anywhere, just to be on the safe side.

I'm still deciding what I want to be when I grow up. At some stage over the past few years I started collecting wind up toys and lava lamps. I'm not sure how it happened, but it sure makes for a colorful living room. Toys are so much fun. Always remember, you are never too old for them.

Best movie of all time: Hair
Song to live by: I Will Survive
