Bad Date - Great Ending

Fantastic. Too long had I sat on the shelf and when (I`ll call him david) asked me out I was estatic. Very excited I went shopping during the day of the date and bought myself a georgeous shirt to go with some new jeans, I knew I looked good in it and couldn't wait for him to see me.

So anyway I also decided to buy a face mask, you know to get all beautifull and to feel great so when I got home I ran a bath and put on my mask. A few seconds after climbing in to the water the mask started to burn my face. Panicking I began to hastily scrub it off, then dashed to the mirror just to see a slightly red complexion but nothing I couldn fix...or so I thought.

Arrived 10 minutes late to be fashionable, David was looking great and he seemed pleased to see me. We went for a few drinks and everything seemed to be going fine when David started looking at me strangely...to be honest I thought he was going to kiss me so I stopped talking, "Whats wrong with your face?" he asked curiously.

I went cold and thought...what, what the hell is wrong with my.....oh dear. Pulled out a pocket mirror and to my horror revealed a disgusting red blotchy rash invading through my make up. I couldn't believe it and ended up telling him everything, he laughed and said it was sweet of me to go through so much bother for him. Yeah I thought and look where it got me...I looked like a human pizza. He asked if I wanted to go back to his and get some cream for it but I kindly refused, thanking him for being so nice.

Sadly it doesn't end there for when I walked out the pub with him I managed to trip on the step and go flying onto the pavement, chucking my bag onto the road which David picked up for me then helped me to my feet trying desperatly to contain his laughter. Eventually I began to laugh too and this was the most amazing part...He kissed me...after all that and guess what ladies - he called the next day and we`ve been together ever since!

Bad date yes but I would`nt change it for the world cause for a guy to call after all of that, he must be genuine!
