Always Be Careful Who You Meet
Every morning I would get my breakfast at the local gas station. One day this guy comes up to me and tells me how he would like to take me out to dinner. I told him no because at the time I had a boyfriend.
Well after about 5 months and this guy asking me a few times for dinner I gave in and said yes (at this point and time the boyfriend and I broke up). This guy said he would talk to me the next day about details on our date.
The next morning I didn't see him (this was a Thursday) so I figured I would see him friday and decide then where we were going to dinner. Later in the afternoon on Thursday I happened to look out the window at work and I see this guy putting his business card on my car (keep in mind I never told him where I worked). On his business card was a little note and his phone number to call him that night. Well I did and there was no answer on his cell phone.
Finally Saturday came around and I called him once more to find out if we were even going out. He never called. I went out to dinner with some friends and when I came home at 7:00 and I saw a car pull up in front of my house and it was this guy (who again I never told him where I lived). He told me some lame story about how he had a death in the family and had to fly to New York and begged me to give him another chance. Well stupid me I did.
We went and had a few drinks and he said he felt bad not talking me to dinner so offered to pick me up for breakfast the next morning. Well I agreed to it since things were going pretty good on our date. Well Sunday morning he picks me up and drives me to his apartment for breakfast. Well his 3 bedroom apartment was decorated a little too nice to be a male only environment. when breakfast was over and we talked for a while I went to get my things to go home. The chair that was right next to mine had a purse on it (and this guy told me he was 100% single and lived alone). When I brought it up to him and he said it was his mom's and that she left it there. When we were walking down to the car I noticed on his mailbox that it had 2 names on it 1 male (his) and one female.
When I did a little investigating his girlfriend was out of town that weekend and the reason why he couldn't call me back about our date was because she didn't leave until saturday night at 5pm. He also was engaged to this girl and was getting married to her this summer. Feeling bad that I fell for his crap and realized other girls probably fell for his lines, I mailed his girlfriend the business card he left on my car with his cell phone number and his hand writting saying "I am sorry I missed you this morning can't wait until our date this weekend!" Also the boy was dumb enough to sign his name and date it.
Last I heard she dumped him
