A Boat Ride or Not???

It all started like this I was dating this guy for about 1 1/2 years it seem like the relationship was going very well, we would talk for hours and I would go to his house like everyday (he lives 30 miles away). Well his birthday was coming up and I wanted to do something really special for him so I planned on taking him on a boat sailing the ocean shore (we live in Hawaii) so I wanted it to be a surprise. So I went to his house on his birthday as I was pulling in to his drive way I noticed he was walking out the door with this other girl, I wanted to die... My heart melted... I came out of the car and asked him where was he going, he treated me like I was some kind of dog, his words were " I thought I told you not to come around and that we were over". I had no clue what he was talking about. Yes it hurt to see him with another girl so I got in my car(crying) and I started to drive home. I guess he came back home from his date, he called and told me that he was really sorry for acting like that I wanted to forgive him but my heart was just in to much pain so I told him that I love him and to just stay out of my life...
