Choking on croutons

I went out to dinner with this guy I was going to the homecoming dance with. Everyone complimented me on how pretty i looked in my dress. I wanted this to be the perfect date. I was really nervous because I liked this guy a lot. I decided to order a salad because I thought it was something easy to eat with no mess. well while we were talking about school activities and so on I started coughing really loud. i tried to hold it in as long as possible but when i did that my face just got redder. so i finally let out this huge cough and my crouton with it. landing right in my dates lap. it was so horrible!! after i was done choking everyone was looking at me i excused myself to the bathroom and didnt come out for a very long time.
