School Dance Gone Wrong

My first "date" was at a school dance. I had asked a guy if he was going with anyone and he said " No why" and I said " Will you go with me?" He said yes and I called him a few times during the week before the dance. The dance rolled around and I saw him there and we walked right past each other and HE DIDNT EVEN SAY A WORD TO ME! Well a slow song came on and I was sorta nervous so I avoided him. My friends asked me if he was there and I told them yes. Well another slow song comes on and I walk over to him. Another girl that knew I was going to the dance walked up and ASKED HIM TO DANCE! Yes....RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! He didnt even hesitate! He put his hands on her waist and started dancing with her. I was so emberassed that he did it right in front of me I just said " I will see you later." I walked off and my eyes were overflowing with tears as I stormed off to the bathroom and my friend saw me and stopped me. She said " Whats wrong? Why arn't you dancing with him?" I said " Why don't you go ask him and the girl that was in his arms?!" I was so mad and hurt by him. He didn't dance with me once during the dance. Yes.....out of the whole dance and about 14 slow songs....not once. A little after the dance where he was dancing with the first girl he asked out another girl! On our "date" he asked out another girl! I was so mad at him. Oh yes, of course she said yes! Later he told my friends people were telling him I said it was just a dance and I didn't realy want to go out with him. Hun, you go to the source!Looking back on it now I know my tears were not worth him. wasn't worth it.
