Valentine's Day Surprise

It was valentine's day and I knew the guy I was seeing had limited funds. But that was fine. Valentine's day is supposed to be from the heart, not the pocket. So when he told me that he was taking me somewhere for a surprise, I was not only surprised, but so excited. I couldn't believe he had saved up cash to take me somewhere. After driving for 45 min. I had no clue where I was - it was freezing outside -- and then I realized he had surprised me by taking me to the concert of one of my favorite singers. I was in heaven. So we walked up to the ticket counter...and then he said 'Hey sweetie - I don't have any money. do you mind paying?' Needless to say, that was our last date.
