Rebound

After my ex and I broke up, I was devestated. I spent hours moping around the house wondering why "forever" ended so soon. So when I met this really cute guy a month later, I thought I could forget about my ex by dating him.

Things went smoothly in the beginning, he was witty and we had amazing chemistry. But after a month or so, our relationship went downhill. He was the jealous type, always accusing me of cheating on him with my guy friends. It finally got to the point where he wanted me to choose between my friends and him. And though he always sounded as if he wanted to break up, he would come crawling back to me saying that he would change his ways, and that he didn't want to end our relationship.

After suffering months of our off-and-on relationship, it finally ended when I decided my friends meant more to me than he did. But in the end, I realized that I had fallen for him. I had fallen for him even though I hadn't meant to.

Moral of the story: never date someone to forget about someone else - you just might fall once again and get hurt once again.
