Valentine’s Day Special

Dating Siblings
When I was 16, I had a HUGE crush on my best friend's younger brother. Michelle was my older brother's age, and since she had a crush on my brother, she thought it would be perfect if Brian (my crush) took me out, and my brother took her out for a date. My brother didn't care for Michelle all that much, but he consented in the end.

So my Big Bro and I go to pick up Brian and Michelle, and when they get in the car, Brian doens't say a word. In fact, he hardly says two words to me the whole night! When we get to the ice skating rink, Brian stands in line, pays for himself, and gets his skates. My brother does the gentlemanly thing and pays for himself and his date, even though he didn't really care for the girl. I thought Brian was going to pay for my way, so I didn't think to bring money, but thankfully Michelle saved me by lending me some.

We get our skates on, and try them out. Before long, Brian and my brother dissappear. Michelle and I found them, but they made it  a point that they didn't want us around. They were ditching us! For two hours (!) Michelle tried to stay with them, but to no avail. My brother wasn't liking this date with Michelle, but Brian, whom everyone had told me had a HUGE crush on me too, was ditching me! I thought it was rude to invite me on a date and not pay for me, but to ditch me the whole night? This was too much.

It was time to go home, so we decided to pick up some ice cream and rootbeer for floats and a movie. Again, I had to pay for my part of the dessert, which my brother graciously took care of. So we get our floats, decide on a movie and start to watch when I noticed that five minutes into the show, Brian is asleep. I was outraged.

The stupid thing is that he STILL doesn't think he did anything wrong! I guess that's why I'm engaged to his roommate, not him! But I learned my lesson, never double with your siblings!
