“The First (and Last) Blind Date”

My friend "L" meant well when we went to our high school semi-semi formal. She set me up on a blind date with this guy who just broke up with another friend of ours. Right from the start it was bad. I like to dance, he liked heavy metal and Kurt Cobain and mostly sat on the sidelines. But wait! It gets worse, everytime I went to the bathroom he would be waiting outside the door, which was nice the first two times. When I finally convinced "L" to get going halfway through the dance the cops showed up! Turns out my Blind Date was violating his restraining order which his ex filed (and is my friend) and he tried to dance a little too close (10 ft min.) and had been placing death threats to at least two other women!!!

I warned my friends they were dead for putting me through the hell of calling my mom at a police station because the blind date was my only ride home . To make my night worse, I was grounded for a month for it!! (What a neighbourhood scandal in small town Canada!!)
