Bad Date Stories
For the Dogs

Picture this:
I'm not into horses or bike riding. Enjoyable physical activities for me come more in the way of Laser Quest, Galaga, Sex, Hiking on a beach etc.

A cute guy asked me if I wanted to go out to his parents farm as he had to tend to the horses. It was a nice day and I hadn't been to 'the country' in a while. He said I didn't have to do anything but keep him company. He was cute and had a fun personality to boot.

Well so I thought. After helping to brush the horses mane, I'm itchy and sunburnt etc. etc. Pouting a fraction. Cutie then suggests that we take a ride into town for some food. I offer to drive, but oh no. He likes to bike ride and has a couple of bikes at the farm. Unfortuanately, these are the peddle kind and not the ones with motors. I haven't ridden in 20 years and wonder what the hell I've gotten myself into. Always prepared to try something new and be a good sport, I go along with the plan. Grudgingly of course.

The ride went something like this:

I'm already peddling as fast as I can. There is an incline ahead. Cutie yells out, "Ride faster, we have to get away from the dog." I look to my right and there is a Doberman charging down its driveway towards the road and towards us. If things weren't bad enough, I'm then trying to get away from a Doberman chasing me down the road. 10 miles later I'm having trouble walking, sitting etc.

It is possibly a bad sign when 5 miles into the ride I'm yelling out, "I hate you."?

A great guy for someone I'm sure. Just not for me. He must feel the same. I haven't heard from him since!
