Bad Date Stories Snow Ball
I can take some of the blame for this one. I did break one of the cardinal sins of dating. I agreed to see a business associate 'after hours'. I had spoken to him on the phone for years and we
had a certain flirtatious chemistry. He sounded cute, but you can't judge a guy by his phone voice. We met one day for a business meeting and there was a curiosity between us. He wasn't quite what I
expected but had some cute qualities. There were several business meetings and the chemistry was building. Maybe it was the forbidden fruit that seemed so tempting. One night he came over to my place. It
was snowing out and he brought me a snowball, saying that he hadn't been able to find flowers. I was amused and appreciated the gesture. He was an original with that one. Talk led to getting closer on
the couch until eventually our lips touched. Then it happened. He broke the moment with an admission that he had a girlfriend. Guilt had possessed him. A little too late, but at least not too late if you
know what I mean. All I could do was laugh. I had been through so many bad dates and similar situations that year that it just humored me. I asked if he felt bad and told him that if he didn't, he really
should. I was so amused by the situation, that to this day, we have remained friends and kept our little secret. Well, sort of.
