Valentine’s Day Special

Valentines for 3
Our first Valentine's together (and only) was set up with wonderful plans. We were to go out to a nice steakhouse for dinner then to the movies and maybe even some dancing.

When he came to pick me up, I expected that maybe I would get at least one flower.  Nope, NONE!!  Okay, I can deal with that. So off we were for our night out. Just the two of us.

Upon reaching town (I lived in the country), he said he needed to stop by his place. Great-he's going to pick up my gift!
YES!!  -- Wrong again.
We picked up his roommate, in his work clothes.  This is not looking good. So off we are for supper. The steakhouse is on the south end of town, but we headed North.  I didn't ask questions, just thought I would see what was up. Can you believe he drove through McDonald's and ordered for all three of us? He didn't even ask what I would like. Just three Quarter pounders please. With fries and a Cokes.

Okay, I can keep my cool- so there will be no steakhouse.  As we are driving away, I still can't say anything as I am in shock!

We drive straight back to his place, he and his roommate go in and I am just astounded. I finally give up and follow them in the house.  They are already watching a movie.

Finally, I could take no more and asked what about our plans.  His response, "We saw this new release at the movie place and picked it up, and we have to return it tomorrow morning before we go to work-so this is the only time I have to watch it."

At this time, I am fuming and ask just what I am supposed to do. "Oh, take the car home tonight and drop it off tomorrow when you are in town, if you can get a ride back home".

Needless to say, that was our last date!!!!

Happy Valentine's to me!!!
