About the Book

He Did You Wrong And That Ain't Right

Are you smack-dab in the middle of that icky, awful, feels-like-someone-punched- you-in-the-stomach, miserably lonely time that follows the loss of a love?

Do thoughts of your Ex fill your mind 24/7? Does the mere mention of your Ex's name tie your stomach into a huge, painful knot? Do you get that sinking, elevator feeling in your heart every time you think about him? Do you think you'll never feel better again? If you answered yes to any of these questions, The Breakup Diary is for you! The Breakup Diary is a step-by-step guided journal that will enable you to purge your mind of all thoughts of him and replace them with positive thoughts about you and your future. The cure already lies within you. You just have to sift through the muck in your heart to get to it. With time, patience, positive thinking and a few pints of Ben & Jerry's, you will be happy again!

About the Author
Lisa Goich-Andreadis graduted from Central Michigan University in 1984 with a degree in Journalism. She began her writing career as an advertising copywriter in Detroit, Michigan. A decade later, winning many prestigious awards along the way, she decided to take her love of comedy writing to a new area - the stand-up stage.

For the past 15 years, Lisa has been performing in comedy clubs from the South Pacific to the Caribbean, New York to L.A. Her television credits include: Comedy Central, Oprah, The Leeza Gibbons Show, The Jenny McCarthy Show, NBC's Friday Night, as well as portraying Tim Allen's wife in an Emmy Award-winning TV special.

In addition to television, Lisa also had her own talk radio show on KLSX-FM in Los Angeles where she covered topics ranging from relationships to gang violence. With a nightly audience of 1 million plus, Lisa's listeners have described her as "funny, down-to-Earth, open-minded and honest," as well as "a refreshing change to the...white-bred, minority-bashing, women-hating male radio that FM Talk radio has become."

Through all of this career success, there was one thing Lisa couldn't master - finding a guy, keeping a guy, and then getting over a guy once he dumped her for someone else. That's when she turned all of her love-sick energies into her recently published book, The Breakup Diary.

The Breakup Diary is a guided journal for anyone who is smack-dab in the middle olf that icky, awful, feels-like-someone-punched-you-in-the-stomach, miserably lonely time that follows the loss of a love - and wants to get over it. It's a light-hearted approach to a heavy-hearted topic.

"I have always said that breakups are really underrated and not given as much credence as a divorce or other losses," says Lisa. "But losing any love is a mind-numbing, stomach-knotting, body-slamming feeling that no one can know until they've gone through it themselves. With The Breakup Diary I tried to come up with a simple approach to help people get over their losses through self-reflection. It's like a therapist in book form. Don't let anyone kid you; time is the only thing that can heal a broken heart. But with The Breakup Diary I believe I have found a way to help people get over their loss a little bit faster."

Lisa-Goich-Andreadis finally left "Breakup World" when she married in March 2001. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband - Mr. (finally got it) Right - three dogs and two cats.

The Review
Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!!!! I can think of no better gift for yourself or for a friend after suffering a break-up! Lisa Goich-Andreadis will keep you laughing while helping you to sort out your heart and mind. With words of encouragement, and plenty of pages to record your journey, The Breakup Diary allows you the freedom to feel your feelings - to get them out - to let them go. Instead of trying to force you into happiness - The Breakup Diary allows you to have fun with your pain. What other book encourages you to make a voodoo doll or list your revenge fantasies? The cartoons and quips throughout are a hysterical bonus. My favorite example: The movie Fatal Attraction really ruined things for women. You can't even call a guy 150 times a day anymore without having him get all bent out of shape!

I can not express enough how much I love this book. Like many other great books I only wish this had been around during my dating years. But I will be sure to keep a copy on hand for any friend of mine unfortunate enough to suffer through a breakup. (And I'm sorry to say that by looking at some of my friends' dating lives - I won't have it long.)

Thank you Lisa Goich-Andreadis for the laughs!!
