About the Book
At the time of its publication, Dr. Arnot's The Breast Cancer Prevention Diet was considered revolutionary by many. There is now a consensus among scientists and clinicians that diet is one of the most important lifestyle factors when it comes to reducing the risk of breast cancer. As a companion book to the breast cancer diet, The Breast Health Cookbook features the foods and supplements that have been proven to act against breast cancer, synthesized into a complete eating program. This cookbook takes the healthy ingredients of the breast cancer diet and creates 172 new, mouthwatering, easy-to-prepare recipes. Dr. Arnot also offers tips on converting recipes to help fight prostate cancer, allowing husband and wife to support each other in their battle to reduce the risk of cancer.
Featuring menus for Asian, Mediterranean, and New American flavors, these sections are further divided into breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert items. From the Asian menu, choose the Sweet and Sour Bok Choy with Tempeh or Vietnamese Salad Rolls. Try the New American recipe for Bean and Broccoli Burrito with Tomato Corn Salsa or Grilled Sesame Lime Salmon. The Mediterranean menu offers an Artichoke Frittata for breakfast, Roasted Pepper and Eggplant Salad for lunch, and Bouillabaisse for dinner. There are thirty delicious combinations for each regional flavor, and with helpful meal-pairing suggestions, the entire family can now enjoy a delectable, disease-fighting meal.
