The Review
A book that is named after one of my all-time favorite songs was sure to capture my attention. Nobody talks about life's heartaches better than the Violent Femmes! Except maybe the poets caught in between the covers of Kiss Off. This book is broken down into the stages of recovering from a break-up and every other kind of heartache that life hits you with. Words of wisdom and poetry help you through each stages. I think the most important lesson I learned was that I spent way too much time "Reeling" and not enough time "Dealing" in my life's past. And although I enjoyed the book - I hope to never have use for it again. (I will keep it on hand in case a friend should need it, though.)
