About the Book
Terror-filled eyes. Lungs choked with water. A pounding heartbeat.
For Sydney Bristow, it’s a typical day in her not-so-typical after-school job–she’s an agent for SD-6, a top-secret division of the CIA. Or so she thinks.
This prequel is the first in a new series based on the smash ABC show Alias–it’s Sydney’s life before she discovers she’s working for the bad guys, juxtaposing normal college life against her fabulous exploits as a working spy.

The Review
I set aside all of my reading assignments to tear into this book. It provided hours of entertainment, and a longing for more.
I never wanted to be a fan of the hit television series "Alias". I don't watch network television (thanks to The Dish Network) so I wasn't lured by the ads. Instead, while on vacation, my good friend Caren got me hooked. She fed my addiction with videotaped copies of episodes each week. An Alias marathon on the ABC Family channel was the epitome to me. Until now.
Finally the ability to read about Sydney's recruitment. The back story if you will. I have always preferred books to movies or television because of the ability to really step into a character's mind. Recruited: An Alias Prequel offers just that.
Fans of the show will be doing themselves a huge favor by picking up this book. But don't say I didn't warn you: It will leave you wanting more.
