September Misc. Reviews
Don Hills 511 Greenwich St. (closest cross street - Spring) New York, NY PH: (212) 219-2850
When To Go: Fridays for Squeeze Box night What Time To Go:
Doors open at 9:30pm, but 11pm is the best time to show up. Things wind down around 4am Door Cover: $10 per person What You Get: A couple of bands, a great
place to people watch, a mostly naked probably gay or bi guy dancing around the poles on the bar and up and down the bar. The drinks are
typical NY bar prices, but it is worth it for the entertainment value of the evening.
Why To Go: To mingle with an incredibly eclectic crowd of transvestites,
transsexuals, gays, bi's, rockers, straight couples, fetish queens and kings. You name it, you can find it at Squeeze Box. I love this place and adore the fashion
forward clothing and the mixing of heavy duty rockers with drag queens.
Who Shouldn't Go: The straight, the naive, the narrow minded people and the easily offended.
Sheila gives this place a thumbs up! (September 2000)
