MemoWeb stores web sites on your hard drive, allowing you to browse web sites
offline. This reduces Internet usage, and frees up your phone line, which saves you time and money. MemoWeb categorizes downloads into easy to use databases.
The databases can be searched providing you with the information you want when you want it. MemoWeb allows you to control the Internet. MemoWeb sets limits on
what can and can’t be seen. You download what you want, when you want it, and show it to who you want. MemoWeb allows you to filter all advertising from sites.
This makes for faster downloads and limits external influences.

The Review
MemoWeb’s most amazing feature has got to be the low cost for the function it
delivers. (Heck - you can even download a version for free!) To be able to download entire sites, filter what you’d like for those sites, and view them
completely off-line is something I had never even thought of doing. Now I don’t know how I lived without it. It is so easy to use, I’m surprised every web designer
or business traveler hasn’t snatched it up. Or maybe they have, and I’ve just been out of the loop. I could go on and on about what I like, but I’ll just pick what I htink are the three coolest uses:
- Laptops and traveling.
Anyone that has traveled with a laptop knows how much your hotel phone charges can be if you’re on-line for any length of time. Now you don’t need to
be. Even if you’re busy doing research on the web. Simply download the sites you need, then browse them off-line. You can even take information and put them into your own reports. Quick and simple.
- Web Designers
A friend of mine pointed this out to me. This is the perfect tool for people that create web sites. Now you can download a site in it’s entirity to show to
a client. Since MemoWeb will also show Flash and JavaScript, your client will be able to see the site completely.
- MP3s.
OK. I was going to use this strictly for work - but I had to try this out. I can justify mysef by saying that I was just trying the filtering that you can use for
anything. I just don’t think you’ll buy it. So I had to download MP3 files from a couple sites. Just the MP3s. Quick. Easy. I can click a button, and leave. It
will get what I want. Igf only men were so good. :)
