My Little Eye
directed by Marc Evans
About the Film
Five young people apply to live in an isolated house together for six months whilst their every move is filmed by numerous cameras. Each has their reason for wanting to be there - fame, money, adventure. The prize - $1 million. The rules - if one person leaves, everyone loses. It becomes the ultimate morality test. When Danny's beloved grandfather dies, does his greed overcome his love? When the skittish Emma finds blood on her pillow why does she still stay behind? And what dark secret does the house harbour that leaves them feeling as though they're being watched by more than just a million pairs of eyes?
Sheila's Review
A UK production filmed in Nova Scotia, starring Sean CW Johnson, Kris Lemche, Stephen O’Reilly, Laura Regan and Jennifer Sky.
This was a chilling dramatic thriller to keep the audience glued to their seats. A group of 5 young people, three guys and two gals are lured to be involved in a web cast reality show where they will each win a million dollars if they stay for months in the isolated, snow bound cabin where they are given curfews and property boundaries.
All seems to be running fairly smoothly until the food begins to run out, scary things begin to happen in and around the house and a stranger pops in for some easy sex. The housemates start to unravel and think each other guilty of doing weird things to creep each other out. Suicide, death and major fear sets in.
I guessed who the bad guy was, but can you? Not your average horror scare flick. It had a twist which many seem to lack. Anyone liking a good thrill, will like this flick.

Trixie's Review
Don't let the tame beginning, or what could be mistaken as an overworked story line fool you. This film quickly descends into a twisted mind-f*ck. These five strangers seem to be near the end of a six month live web cast that will net them each a million bucks with little harm. Then the games begin. Is it a ploy to avoid paying each of them, is it a psychotic stranger that has stalked them throughout their web cast or is it one of their own.
I loved the ending and hope it doesn't change with a distribution deal. I also hope they don't give too much of the story away with advertising. I think half of the reason I enjoyed this film so much was because I was surprised by how twisted it became.
