Panic Room

Starring Jodie Foster, Kristen Stewart, Forest Whitaker, Dwight Yoakam and Jared Leto.

The cast were excellent in their roles. Kristen is young but better than many older, Hollywood actresses. Jodie plays a convincing role as a mother protecting her daughter as they hide out in the Panic Room, which unknown to them, holds the money which the robbers have come to steal. Forest plays the crook with the good heart. Dwight and Jared play the bad guys who are really bad.

The movie wasn't as scary as I had hoped. Quite tame really. I had expected to be on the edge of my seat, but instead I was just lounging in it, not jumping at all. Overall it is worth seeing, but not worth rushing to the theater for. A very basic plot stretched out for just under 2 hours. Not a lot happens, but enough to keep you from getting bored.
