Pearl Harbor
This was a movie that I am so glad to have seen. It may have
been hard to tell that I liked it by the tears streaming down my face during most of the film. It must have been well done - otherwise how could it have elicited such an emotional response
from myself? And not just myself. I was in a packed theater, opening weekend. Not a sound was made during the entire 3 hours in the theater. The crowd was silent while leaving the
theater. (The exception being the muffled sniffles scattered throughout the theater.)
The love story was sweet. The action - gripping (although horrifying when you let
yourself remember that this actually happened). The acting - well done. The lessons - painfull. War is just so senseless and stupid!!!!!!
I couldn’t even begin to adequately describe this movie. I have just never been so moved. Bring a LOT of tissues (and someone to hold your hand.) My
complete respect and sympathies to the people that had to live through the tragedy of Pearl Harbor.
