Signs
Starring: Mel Gibson, Joaquin Phoenix, Cherry Jones, Rory Culkin, Abigail Breslin
Directed by: M. Night Shyamalan
Distributor: Touchstone Pictures
Starring Mel Gibson who lost his wife and his faith in the same night until a miracle happens. Aliens invade earth and earth could either be taken over by these green creatures or maybe earthlings will survive the invasion. You'll need to watch this movie to see what happens.
Yes, this is an alien movie complete with green monsters, but surprisingly, it is well done and not too cheesy at all. I even jumped out of my seat a few times which nearly sent my hot chocolate spilling down the front of my creme sweater, which would have been an even more frightening site that the aliens.
A movie well worth seeing for a unique story line, great acting, suspense and drama. There are even a few laughs thrown in. Abigail Breslin and Rory Culkin are great as the kids and Joaquin Phoenix is fab as the uncle. I'm surprised Mel's younger brother wasn't in the movie instead of Mel.
Great date flick.
