    The Review

A cute romp through the ups and downs of healing a broken heart and opening yourself to love. Debra Messing is funny and loveable as she has to endure an unwed sister's worst nightmare: her younger sister's wedding. Dealing with an ex-fiance, a crazy mother and conflicting emotions, she finds that the "date" she has hired is not only her best investment, but her best ally as well. Dermot Mulroney fits the bill perfectly as the "ideal date".

Light and fun... the comedy in this film outweighs any amount of predictability. A great DVD for cozying up with your own date for the evening... or for watching with a bunch of your single girl friends for a night of comedy.
