Slut 'Em Go!
The Disrespectful Beat

The Review

I have to say that Slut 'Em Go!'s music wasn't quite what I expected the first time I clicked to hear a bit of their tune "Tesla". I didn't expect the crunchy guitars that brought to mind Black Sabbath. I definitely didn't expect to hear ballsy playing and the pounding beat. And surprise, surprise - the band is half estrogen-producing chicks! :) I immediately fell in heavy like with the song and awaited the arrival of their CD.

Each of the tracks was like a journey through musical history. I couldn't pinpoint their influences. I think it's just a blend of every great rockin' musician that ever existed? But I could be wrong. I'm still having trouble describing the sound. When I've played the CD for friends they're surprised by how much they like it. Why surprised? Hell if I know. Maybe because it's rare to hear music like this being played nowadays. (IE: good)

If you're sick of the new crap on the radio, and have an appreciation for all things jammin', groovin' and kick ass, pick up this CD. you can get it, and more information about the band, at their website: www.slutemgo.com. While there I dare you to listen to Tesla and not want to buy this CD.

We're hoping to get some info on this band in a future issue. Keep your fingers crossed and check back next month to see if we succeeded...
