Aimee and Jaguar
This one is definitely worth seeing.
It is a German flick with english subtitles. It stars people whose names I can't spell or pronounce. But it was excellent. It is about a group of gay women in Germany during WWII. More specifically, gay, Jewish women. Somehow, they had fooled everyone into believing they were perfect Germans so they didn't wear stars or get sent to the concentration camps. Don't ask me how they did that though. Well one of the women falls for a blond haired blue-eyed German. However, she has some baggage...a husband, a lover, and four children. The two work through the baggage and fall madly in love. There is more, but you'll have to go see it for yourself (if it comes to your town-which if you do live in a town, it probably won't).
This is a very intense flick. My only bitch is that there was a lot of dialogue so it was difficult to read all of it (and you know you always lose something in the translation, too).
The acting and cinematography was very, very good. It was more that just your standard love story...it had flare. I am going to see it again soon.
