But I’m a Cheerleader
This one was the best of the day. It's about a highschool cheerleader (played by the girl from Slums of Beverly Hills) whose family and friends tell her she's a lesbian and send her to a
program to get "straightened out."
It also stars RuPaul who plays an ex-gay and a graduate of the program (yeah, right!). Anyway, the girl finally admits she is a homosexual and falls in love with another girl at the retreat against her parents wishes. It was definitely a farce about how many people view homosexuality (especially those religious fanatics). Thinking they could just change with a couple months at camp. It's a good flick and very funny too.
