Camera Obscure
From SXSW 2000
A very empty movie which just needed some more substance to bite into.
The story line had potential with the main character being a crime scene photographer
who rearranges the corpses to create artful photos. For example, a crime scene sprawled with bodies everywhere, was transformed by the photographer into a photo of the Last Supper.
The
photographer is losing his mind and driving his wife away. She starts stripping to pay the bills. The dirty cops a brutal and inflict more violence than I feel necessary to see in any movie. The drag
queen traffics drugs and runs a strip joint.
All in all there is something for everyone, just not for me.
