Finding Forrester
Directed by Gus Van Sant, this touching tale explores the lives of an African American teenager and a reclusive novelist.
Jamal Wallace, played by Rob Brown has a talent for playing
basketball and for writing. He is awarded a scholarship at a top New York school. William Forrester, played by Sean Connery, is taught about in the schools and after publishing his first ever written
novel, went into hiding. Wallace and Forrester form a friendship of student and mentor which soon develops into much more. They learn from each other about life, freedom, rewards and most of all about
true friendship.
A very touching story which I'm sure my mother would just love. It is a great Sunday afternoon movie to curl up on the couch and watch.
