This movie is basically a send up of Star Trek and the Trekkies who worship the crew at conventions year after year.

In Galaxy Quest, the crew from a popular sci-fi TV series are taken into outer space to fight 'real life' aliens and o save another alien group.

An extremely 'campy' movie with sporadic amusing scenes. A fun, lighthearted movie to watch when you need a lift.
