Memento

Starring Guy Pierce with the worst dye job I've ever seen on him, but a great body to make up for it.

This movie is a little difficult to follow, but enough is repeated to get the gist of things. Just realize that the movie sort of goes from present to past, rather than in sequence.

Guy Pierce plays Lenny. An ex insurance claims broker whose wife was raped and murdered. He walked in on the attackers and in the process received a blow to the head which caused him to suffer from short term memory loss. His mission in life becomes to track down his wife's murderer and to kill him. Not being able to remember anything due to his condition, he lives with notes, Polaroid photos and by tattooing important information on himself so as to remember things. There are some amusing lines throughout the movie and a story line that will have you watching from beginning to end in need to figure out what is going on.

Worth a look at, but you could wait until the video comes out. It will be just as good on a small screen.
