Moulin Rouge (Sheila’s Review)
Not even Nicole Kidman was able to ruin this musical comedy. I laughed
throughout the movie and drooled at the close-ups of Ewan Mc Gregor. What a cutie. Not since the Rocky Horror Picture Show has there been such a 'camp' musical, full of the most cornball scenes that you just couldn't help but be amused.
I was reminded of a Disney animated kids movie, only with real life actors and hit songs from days gone by.
It did run on a little long and you have to have a slightly warped sense of
humor to enjoy it, but even if you don't, the costumes and scenery are stunning enough to keep you in awe.
Why wait? Head to the theater now to catch this one.
