Scary Movie

Scary movie was not quite what I expected. You definitely need to have seen all the hit scary movies over the past few years to really understand all the jokes. The movie was funny. This was a parody of the scary movies, which have kept us on the edge of our seats for years. Movies like Scream and The Blair Witch project with some non-scary movie takes off such as a scene from American Pie.

I laughed, I cringed, and I wondered why the writers, directors and/or producers felt such a need for showing such graphic violence. The movie could have been made just as well without having to show a broken leg and the bones coming out of the skin etc. I don’t want to give too much away.

The most memorable part of the movie though for me would have to be the penis, the hole in the stall in the men’s’ room and the ear. That is all I will say.

It is okay. You may as well wait until it is on video to save disappointed from the expectations, which everyone seems to have of this movie. If you saw the previews, you have seen all you need to see.
