The Blair WItch Project
Starring: Michael Williams, Heather Donahue, Director: Daniel Myrick, Eduardo Sanchez,
Definately worth a visit to the theatre for this one. The running with the camera and the grass
shots were a little overdone, but the ending was great. It was a very clever movie with a great story line. So simple yet effective. (Sheila, Aug. 1999)
I wasn't sure what to expect after all the hype I'd heard. I'd been warned it would give me a headache from the jumpy video to nightmares from the story line. Happy to say I suffered from neither.
The movie captured my attention surprisingly quickly and drew me in right away. I enjoyed the way the movie was filmed, imitating an amateur photographer at work. This really made the movie
much more believable than if it was shot in the usual "Hollywood" manner.
After watching it with my husband, we had quite a bit to talk about.
Even lying in bed that night, we were joking about never going into the woods again. Days after, I'm still talking about it to my neighbors.
I recommend this movie to all that love a good, scary flick.
(Nov. 1999)
