Wonder Boys
Excellent movie starring Robert Downey Jr. as a gay editor, Michael Douglas as a washed up novelist and writing professor, and Tobey Maguire as the promising young student trying to find
himself and his place in life. The rainy, snowy weekend in Pittsburgh is full of action with a dead dog, a transvestite, gay sex, affairs of the heart, Marilyn Monroe's wedding day jacket and adultery.
This grungy, artist flick had me laughing so loud that the lines in my face are even deeper now, and it also pulled at the heart strings with the capturing of friendships and true love. A must
see movie if you have an open mind and an appreciation for watching talented actors in not so typecast roles.
