"Fun in Customs"

Okay, it wasn't your average itinerary. In fact, I had to call in sick after the whole thing was over just to recover.

Lost luggage, stopped at customs ("No luggage, eh?"), watered down coffee, unknown reservations - you name it - it happened. Did I mention the drug-sniffing dog whose nose was wet AND cold on my privates!

Oh, they found my purse - the one that was stolen at the airport while they were searching me! - almost completely empty except for some lipstick (crushed) and an envelope with my name on it! But when I opened up the hidden money compartment finding the credit card and $20, the customs agents went WILD! They cut the lining in my purse to make sure there wasn't anything else hidden there!

That's the last time I flew to Canada from Buffalo. A one hour trip turned into a nighe of a weekend.

Did I mention that they never found my wedding dress?

(Sigh)
