The Toronto International Film Festival

 DAY 2 - Sunday September 12, 1999

After oversleeping and taking a little long to get ready - Sheila and Trixie cheated and cabbed it back up to the Uptown theater for  "Joe the King" starring: Noah Fleiss, Ethan Hawke, Val Kilmer, John Leguizamo, Max Ligosh, Karen Young. Directed by Frank Whaley.

On to more food, movies, walking and fun.....and the best movie (we thought) of the festival:  "Harlem Aria"  starring: Gabriel Casseus, Christian Camargo, Damon Wayans, Malik Yoba, Edye Byrde. Directed and written by William Jennings. Sheila describes it best: "A surprisingly entertaining comedy of color."
