Sheila to Explore Amersterdam
 

Amsterdam is said to be a radical mix or art, history, non-conformists and a place to party like there is no tomorrow.

Sheila is heading there to see if everything she read and heard about the city is true.

She is keen to see the 17th and 18th century architecture, the Van Gogh Museum, the Tattoo Museum, the Hash and Marijuana museum and to take a boat ride along the canals. Of course the red light district may happen to be on the agenda as a place to see. Who can resist the urge to mingle with hookers, pimps, drug dealers and weirdoes?

“Who can resist the urge to mingle with hookers, pimps, drug dealers and weirdos?” Obviously Sheila can’t...she’s packing her bags and headed for Amsterdam....or is she?????

Apparently Sheila can resist the urge to mingle in Amsterdam ....seems a call from an old flame has her headed to New York instead... while Trixie will be in New England...updates to be forthcoming....

Hi Trixie,
Sorry for not being able to give you an update on New York for this month's  travel section, but I can only kiss and tell when my heart's not in it. I can say that New York is a great place for a weekend get away whether it be with friends or a lover. Try to stay mid town so that you can be central to the highlights at both sides of the city.
I'm currently in London this weekend, so I'll be writing about that for a  future GP issue.
Hope all is well in Boston. Looking forward to hearing all about it in next month's issue.

Dearest Sheila,
It seems your trip to New York was more exciting than my trip to New England. The best thing I found was great vegetarian food and some date potential for Miss Bettie. I also have some great photos which I”ll be sharing in September’s GIrlposse issue.. Don’t fret - they’re not typical vacation photos. They’re worth a chuckle so you’ll want to check them out.
I probably won’t see you until we meet in Toronto for the FIlm Festival next month, so we’ll catch up on everything there......
